WWW Wednesday

Hello everyone! Today I am writing my version of a weekly meme, called WWW Wednesday. I have recently seen it floating around the Internet, and thought that it looked so fun that I had to give it a go!

WWW Wednesday was originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm, and revived by Taking on a World of Words.

All you need to do to take part is answer three questions:

⭐What are you currently reading?

⭐What did you finish recently reading?

⭐What do you think you’ll read next?

⭐ What are you currently reading? ⭐

At the moment, I am reading The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This book is definitely different to others that I have read, possibly because of the older style that it is written in, nethertheless this book is an incredibly interesting book to read.

Gatsby was a man who everyone knew of, but few could actually pick his face out in a crowd. He hosted many extravagant parties in his home in Long Island, but still remained a mystery to all. The Great Gatsby explores Gatsby’s seemingly fairytale life, and the people who he surrounded himself with. I can’t wait to see how the story ends.

I am also currently reading The Girl In The Cellar by Patricia Wentworth. I picked this one up in a second hand book shop about a week ago, and so far I like it. I think that I do need to get further into the book until I can make a secure judgement on the book, as hopefully the pace will pick up a bit.

The Girl in the Cellar is about a girl who wakes up, with no memory of her whole life, on the stairs down into the cellar. In front of her lies a girl. Dead. She know that she isn’t the killer, but then who is? The story is about discovering who she is and what’s happened to her. I believe that this book is part of a larger collection of books called Miss Silver Mystery’s.

⭐ What did you finish recently reading? ⭐

The last book that I finished was Noah Could Never by Simon James Green. This book was so good and so funny. However in my opinion the first one was a little bit better. Despite this, I still recommend that you read both books because they are still both really really good.

Noah Could Never picks up almost where the last one (Noah Can’t Even) ended. Noah’s mum and dad are now back together. But, whilst Noah’s mum and dad seem to be happy, Noah is suspicious of his dad and his new step-brother. As well as this, Noah is worried about his relationship with his boyfriend Harry and a black car seems to be following him wherever he goes.

This book is really great if you want something to read to make you laugh and happy.

⭐ What do you think you’ll read next? ⭐

I’m not sure, but I’m hoping to read Ordeal By Innocence by Agatha Christie and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. I don’t know which I will read first but I am excited for both, as I love Agatha Christie, and I don’t believe that I have read any by Oscar Wilde before.

Thankyou for reading my WWW Wednesday, I hope that you enjoyed it.

Have a nice day!
